Summary Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead. This is a remote position that will report to the Dallas, TX office. The Talent Acquisition Lead performs the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, recruitment strategy, candidate screening, initial interviews, and candidate flow processes through final dispositioning in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for all assigned positions within Balfour Beatty US. Demonstrated ability to develop and leverage industry and professional networks to connect Balfour Beatty with the best talent sources. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and effectively manage a high volume of open positions with the necessary sense of urgency. Resourcefulness, resiliency, and a willingness to always learn and share new things. Possesses interpersonal savvy and effective verbal communication skills – able to build trust and credibility with hiring managers, HR leaders, and potential candidates. Possesses organizational savvy – able to influence and work effectively with all levels of management. Ability and willingness to travel as needed or requested (up to 25%) for recruiting events, job fairs and/or partnering sessions with HR leaders and hiring managers. Conscientious attention to detail. Possesses professional and clear writing skills with minimal errors. Sourcing and Recruiting Partner with Talent Acquisition management and stakeholders to create job requisitions and post them to our careers page and/or internal careers site. Proactively search for candidates through resume mining, sourcing, active recruitment, approaching industry-specific organizations, reviewing resumes received at college events, conducting network searches, utilizing partner recruiting sites, leveraging contacts, following up on employee referrals and conducting initial phone screens. Manage both internal and external applicant flow in the ATS. Partner with hiring managers to understand the needs of the organization. Conduct calibration calls with hiring managers prior to posting new job openings and participate in related update calls with HR leaders and hiring managers as needed (weekly, biweekly, etc.). Support Talent Acquisition Manager on assessing which roles to partner with external recruiting firms. Works with Talent Acquisition Manager to identify appropriate posting sites/venues for open positions. Candidate Experience Manage the end-to-end candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This includes being the candidate’s primary point of contact from the time the candidate is initially screened until the point the candidate accepts or declines an offer or is removed from consideration. This includes scheduling virtual and/or in-person interviews, providing timely follow-up at each stage, assisting with travel arrangements (if necessary), making the initial offer to the candidate and managing all phases of the offer process for related stakeholders. Complete the candidate experience at the appropriate time by dispositioning and notifying applicants who were not offered or considered for the role. Process Integrity Creates weekly and monthly metric reports for HR management and executive teams, tracking progress made on open job requisitions (candidates interviewed, offers extended, offers accepted, etc.). Ensures the ATS is up to date and accurate – dispositions candidates at each stage based on qualifications, pre-screening responses, interviews, offers, etc. Works with Regional HR Team to ensure the same for their positions of responsibility (pre-employment screenings, onboarding, orientation, etc.). Ensures Balfour Beatty’s AAP/EEO and OFCCP compliance through ethical behaviors and disciplined execution of our processes. Displays a thorough understanding of current laws and legislation; enforces our recruiting procedures with our hiring managers, partner agencies and applicants to ensure fair and respectful treatment of all candidates. Minimum Requirements Associate’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ talent acquisition experience in a multi-location organization. Experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Experience recruiting in a multi-state, multi-office organization. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. Talent acquisition experience related to IT, finance and/or corporate-related roles. Working Conditions This is a remote position. Regularly uses hands to manipulate phones, computer keyboard and similar tools. Ability to view computer screens, mobile devices, and other electronic equipment, for extended periods of time. Sit and stand to perform administrative work.
