🎯 ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Content Acquisitions Manager for YouTube Originals, you will be responsible for discovering and acquiring high-quality content from emerging creators and established studios. You will work closely with our content team to develop and execute strategies for acquiring and producing original content that resonates with our global audience. You will report to the Head of Content Acquisitions and will be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of television and film.

πŸ“‹ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Secure new content deals with creators, studios, and production companies through negotiations and pitches.

Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players, including agents, managers, and executives.

Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the content marketplace.

Collaborate with our content team to develop and execute content strategies that align with our business goals.

Provide strategic guidance and support to production companies and creators throughout the production and post-production process.

Negotiate and manage contracts, including option agreements, production agreements, and talent contracts.

βœ… REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in content acquisitions, production, or related field.

Bachelor's degree in film, television, or related field.

Proven track record of successfully acquiring and producing high-quality content.

Strong understanding of the content marketplace, including current trends and emerging platforms.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

MBA or law degree.

5+ years of experience in the film and television industry.

Strong network of contacts in the content industry.
