Remote Teacher - Biology & Chemistry (High School) (American Curriculum)

<p><strong>Role Overview</strong> </p><p>We’re hiring an exceptional Head of Biology & Chemistry to help build and lead a new American high school offering in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a rare opportunity to help shape an academic program from the ground up - designing a rigorous, engaging, and tech-enabled Biology & Chemistry programs while helping redefine the future of excellent teaching.</p><p>The head of Biology & Chemistry will own the end-to-end development of the Biology & Chemistry programs, including curriculum design, instructional approach, assessment, pacing, and teacher support, while also directly teaching one of the courses. This is not a traditional “plug-and-play” teaching role. We operate a highly interactive hybrid learning model that combines world-class remote teachers, in-class facilitators, and technology-enabled learning.</p><p>Note that this role may be remote; relocation is not required.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li><p>Design Biology & Chemistry courses including curriculum (units, lesson plans, assessments, homework, etc.) for Noon’s hybrid teaching platform. We are launching with Grade 9 and 10 in Fall of 2026 so those grade levels will be the immediate priorities between now and August.</p></li><li><p>Lead, train, and facilitate other Biology & Chemistry teachers in delivering the content.</p></li><li><p>Deliver one section of the online Biology or Chemistry lessons (beginning in August) aligned to our curriculum and learning outcomes</p></li><li><p>Design, adapt, and improve lessons and materials on an ongoing basis</p></li><li><p>Use EdTech and digital tools to drive engagement, differentiation, and participation</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with the wider team to refine curriculum, delivery methods, and learning journeys</p></li></ul><p><strong>Must-Have Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience designing International American high school Science curriculum aligned to CCSS and NGSS standards</p></li><li><p>Experience designing and/or delivering Science curriculum for students for whom English may be a second language</p></li><li><p>Recognized teaching qualification (BA/MA in subject area, TESOL, CELTA, etc.)</p></li><li><p>5+ Years of experience</p></li><li><p>Able to work full-time Sunday to Thursday (GMT +3).
