You will be working closely with stakeholders, development and infrastructure teams to identify project performance requirements, test data and environment considerations. You will also be responsible for successful execution of performance test scenarios, result data and metrics analyses and compilation of test reports.</p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Responsibilities:</b><ul> <li>Perform stress, load, regression, and performance testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance</li> <li>Model performance scenarios, perform initial analysis and identify potential system and resources bottlenecks. </li> <li>Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are identified and included in the test plan and ensure the delivered solutions are coherent, consistent and complete.</li> <li>Design, develop, and execute performance test plans on multiple projects, through analysis of requirements, documenting results and working with teammates to identify root causes. </li> <li>Analyze NFRs and identify best suited test strategy/approach.</li> <li>Collect, analyze, and report performance testing results to cross-functional teams. </li> <li>Understand the highly technical features and functionality of Smile Digital Health’s products in detail in order to plan for testing and other QA activities. </li> <li>Reviews the performance test scripts to ensure compliance with standards.</li> <li>Provide recommendations to improve product performance and scalability. </li> <li>Design, implement and maintain performance test frameworks</li> <li>Use Jmeter (or other similar tools) to design and execute load and performance tests against API and Web applications.</li> <li>Design and execute daily load benchmarks as well as larger, system level tests</li> <li>Accountable for ensuring that all working hours are accurately reported in Netsuite on a daily or weekly basis, that the majority of (if not all) hours are tracked as billable and that the project management tool in Netsuite is properly and fully utilized. </li> <li>Tracking and reporting of billable hours is a critical aspect of project management and delivery to our customers and this is a major area of accountability.</li> </ul> <div> </div> <div> </div><p><br></p><b>Requirements:</b><ul> <li>5+ years experience in Performance Testing. </li> <li>Experience with Service Virtualization and Performance test data management tools.</li> <li>Experience with application monitoring, alerting and log tracing tools.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL databases</li> <li>Excellent technical documentation skills.</li> <li>Good understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile project experience.</li> <li>Experience with MS Azure or one of other major public cloud vendors, highly preferred.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure CLI, distributed JMeter execution, OAuth 2.0 API Authorization and Linux bash, highly preferred. </li> <li>Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant work experience</li> </ul> <div> </div><p><br></p><p></p> <p><b>Some of the benefits we offer:</b></p><p>* Remote Work Environment</p><p>* Flexible Time Away From Work Policy including PTO, Personal and Sick Days</p><p>* Competitive Salary and Health/Medical Benefits</p><p>* RRSP/TFSA/401K Employee Contribution</p><p>* Life and Disability</p><p>* Employee Assistance Program</p><p>* FHIR Study Program and Skillsoft Learning</p><p>* Super HAPI Fun Club</p><p><br></p><p>Smile's core values include respect, inclusion, embracing our differences, and celebrating shared values because our people are the foundation of our success.
