The role involves finance research, investment reasoning evaluation, market and company analysis, and ensuring high-quality project execution. Responsibilities Review finance-related tasks involving hedge funds, private equity, investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, venture capital, or related investment workflows Evaluate materials involving market analysis, company analysis, valuation logic, transaction reasoning, or investment thesis development Create or review structured finance scenarios grounded in professional investment, advisory, and corporate finance workflows Apply practical finance judgment to assess whether outputs are accurate, complete, and commercially realistic Assess finance-related outputs for reasoning quality, analytical rigor, clarity, and professional relevance Identify weak assumptions, incomplete analysis, unsupported conclusions, or gaps in financial logic Apply structured criteria or rubrics to evaluate finance research quality Provide clear written feedback explaining strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas Produce clear, well-organized written analysis and review notes Maintain strong attention to detail across submitted work Follow project instructions and quality standards consistently Support high-quality project execution through reliable, structured finance review Skills Current location in Spain or Latin America At least 2 years of experience at strong finance firms or investment-focused organizations Background in one or more of the following areas hedge funds, private equity, investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, venture capital, or investment analysis Strong understanding of investment reasoning, valuation, due diligence, market analysis, company analysis, or transaction-related workflows Excellent written communication skills and ability to explain financial reasoning clearly High attention to detail and strong analytical judgment Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment Academic backgrounds in finance, economics, business, accounting, engineering, mathematics, statistics, data analysis, or related fields may be highly relevant Professional training in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, equity research, venture capital, corporate finance, or financial analysis may be especially valuable Equivalent professional experience may be considered depending on project needs Experience with financial modeling, valuation, investment memos, pitchbooks, transaction materials, public markets research, or private markets due diligence Exposure to M&A, leveraged buyouts, growth equity, venture investing, credit analysis, portfolio company analysis, or corporate finance planning Experience preparing or reviewing investment committee materials, company research, market maps, or financial diligence notes Strong ability to evaluate both qualitative investment reasoning and quantitative financial analysis Availability for at least 10 hours per week depending on project scope Benefits Fully remote with flexible scheduling Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise Company Overview At 24-MAG, we support emerging AI and consulting platforms by sourcing and connecting qualified professionals with remote, contract-based opportunities.
