[Remote] Regional Vice President, Sales - West Coast

Anchor Loans is the nation’s leading private, direct lender to experienced residential real estate investors and builders, and is seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales to lead and expand Residential Transition Loan origination production on the West Coast. This leadership role will oversee both borrower direct and third-party business development professionals, driving regional production growth, market expansion, client acquisition, and sales team development while ensuring alignment with company objectives. Responsibilities Lead and grow RTL origination production across an assigned geographic region through borrower direct and third-party origination channels Manage and develop a team of retail loan originators and broker-focused business development professionals Execute regional sales strategies designed to increase market share, production volume, and profitability Build strong relationships with real estate investors, mortgage brokers, lenders, and referral partners within the region Drive expansion of the company’s private money and business purpose lending platform throughout assigned markets Serve as the primary regional sales leader responsible for production performance, team development, and market penetration Develop and execute regional sales growth strategies across borrower direct and broker/indirect origination channels Establish and achieve regional production goals, revenue targets, profitability objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Lead, coach, and manage retail loan originators and indirect sales professionals to maximize production and business development efforts Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and retain top-performing sales talent within the assigned region Develop localized market expansion plans focused on investor concentration, broker relationships, and emerging business opportunities Conduct regular pipeline reviews, performance assessments, and sales forecasting activities Utilize CRM systems and analytics tools to monitor lead generation, pipeline management, conversion rates, and overall sales effectiveness Partner with Operations, Underwriting, Capital Markets, Marketing, and Business Acquisition teams Represent the company at local and regional industry events, conferences, and networking functions Maintain balanced growth between retail/direct and broker/indirect origination channels while ensuring profitability and credit quality standards Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and performance excellence Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and individual development sessions Skills 5+ years of experience in real estate finance, mortgage banking, business purpose lending, or RTL origination sales 3+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams within a regional market Demonstrated success originating and growing RTL, fix-and-flip, DSCR/rental, construction, or investor-focused lending products Proven track record managing both retail/direct originators and broker-focused business development professionals Deep understanding of business purpose lending products and real estate investor financing needs, expertise in CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales analytics Extensive experience in residential business purpose lending, mortgage banking, or real estate finance Strong understanding of sales management, business development, and regional market expansion strategies Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered Benefits Comprehensive health insurance options including Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life/AD&D insurance Generous sick leave & vacation benefits for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits Highly competitive performance bonus 401(k) retirement program with employer match Tuition reimbursement toward professional development Workplace Celebrations, Team Building, Charity Drives, and Food Truck luncheons Onsite gym (Thousand Oaks only) 12 Paid Holidays Company Overview Anchor Loans empowers developers to deliver the future of America’s housing.
