This is a remote opportunity for a 1099 Contractor / Consultant role offering a flexible schedule with an estimated level of effort is 35 hours per semester, 5 semester per year for a total of 175 hours per calendar year. So, what will the Project Manager at Terrestris do? As the Project Manager you will serve as the Contractor's primary point of contact and be responsible for the overall management, coordination, staffing, and successful execution of the contract. The PM oversees day-to-day operations, ensures compliance with all contract requirements, manages quality control, coordinates directly with the Government, submits required reports, and ensures all performance objectives are achieved. What does a typical day look like for a Project Manager? You will: <ul> <li>Lead overall contract performance and serve as the Contractor's primary Government liaison.</li> <li>Meet regularly with the COR to discuss project status and contract performance.</li> <li>Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan and milestone schedule.</li> <li>Coordinate instructor staffing, personnel updates, and resume submissions for task orders.</li> <li>Prepare progress and financial reports following each academic term.</li> <li>Monitor contract deliverables, schedules, risks, and corrective actions to ensure successful execution.</li> <li>Communicate project updates, staffing changes, and performance information with Government stakeholders.</li> </ul> What qualifications do you look for? You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have: <ul> <li>Authorization to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship. </li> <li>Master's degree in political science, history, public policy, law, organizational leadership, management, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience supporting contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.</li> <li>Must have prior active duty or reserve service in the U.S. Marine Corps or U.S. Navy.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing Department of Defense programs and coordinating with senior Government leadership.</li> <li>Authorized to act on behalf of the Contractor on all contract matters and available during normal Government business hours.</li> </ul> What kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer?
