Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving the revenue and brand awareness in the industry by selling AWP portfolio of products, rentals and services through public/private bids and e-commerce.  This position is an active, hands-on role focusing on establishing new accounts, growing existing accounts, and meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outgoing phone calls to prospective customers
  • Compose and send e-mail correspondence to prospective customers
  • Manage incoming e-mail correspondence and inquiries generated from e-commerce sales
  • Answer incoming telephone inquiries from prospective and existing customers generated from e-commerce sales
  • Coordinate quotes for public and private bids
  • Inform customers of current promotions or special sales
  • Manage and track e-commerce leads and sources in database
  • Analyze and summarize sales trends for sales management team
  • Assist customers with navigating website and placing orders online
  • Successfully learn our products and services
  • Convey the company’s focus on safety to employees and customers
  • Creatively work with team members on sales strategies
  • Relentlessly create and drive weekly sales plan
  • Stress Statewide network of companies delivering quality and on-time service
  • May conduct product training for customers
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years proven success in submitting and winning bids, e-commerce sales, prospecting, and telemarketing experience a must
  • Experience in construction, traffic control or infrastructure industries preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral, bilingual a plus
  • Excellent computer and internet mining skills and experience with lead tracking software
  • Strong customer orientation; experience developing strong partnerships by understanding and anticipating customer’s business needs; ability to qualify prospects
  • Experience in developing quotes and preparing sales analysis reports for management
  • Must be results-driven, friendly, tenacious, work independently and have a positive “make it work” attitude
  • High energy and self-motivated
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Extensive computer and telephone use Team focused and support the company direction

The salary range for this position is $52K - $60K + Bonus
