Finance Manager (Healthcare industry exp NEEDED) - REMOTE

Finance Manager The Finance Manager provides vision and leadership to maximize our financial performance. They will serve as a key executive responsible for directing their designated Markets financial reporting and decision support functions and will be accountable for the planning, budgeting, analytical analysis, proforma development, decision support, productivity and financial reporting for their Market. The manager will be “right hand” of the ACFO and Market President and will play a critical role in the Market's continued financial strength and growth.

They coordinate all financial analysis and financial operational support for the Market. They represent the finance division with excellence as he or she adheres to a structured rounding cadence with all operational leaders and works with the ACFO to plan and direct the timely and accurate delivery of financial support. They will support the ACFO in accomplishing system financial objectives and maintaining timely and compliant financial reporting.

They will accomplish this through highly effective relationships with caregivers, peers, medical staff, officers, presidents/administrators, regulators, vendors and consultants. All functional initiatives are carried out in alignment with our Mission/Vision/Values and Strategic Priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the financial planning and profitability efforts of the Market including forecasts, decision support, proformas, and productivity by working closely with the Director of Finance, ACFO, Market President and Market Operational Leaders.
  • The SRFC provides monthly narrative and market level communications surrounding the month end close.
  • The SRFC maintains open communications with the ACFO regarding project and analytical requests to define / facilitate prioritization and urgency. All proformas and business plans are to be reviewed by ACFO prior to socialization.
  • The SRFC provides support and analytic input into the DBAs and initiative tracking within the rolling forecast.
  • Analyzes, interprets and communicates financial reports and data to the ACFO and Market President; including but not limited to service line profitability.
  • Monitors key metrics including trends, spending patterns and resource utilization to identify improvement opportunities for the Market.
  • Serve as the Market resource on specific finance and revenue cycle related projects and/or problems including but not limited to net revenue and service line profitability. Works directly with Revenue Cycle team to improve clean claims and denial rates.
  • Serve as the Market resource for capital budgeting process and coordination of projects through the system; serves as a key member of the Capital Steering Committee and the Supply Management Committee.
  • The SRFC develops Martket presentations and reports on financial performance and expectations for executive management, board of directors and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and responsive to customers while communicating the broader financial vision and strategic growth

  • The Senior Regional Finance Coordinator accomplishes this through highly effective relationships with caregivers, peers, medical staff, officers, presidents/administrators, regulators, vendors and consultants. Education
  • Bachelor's Degree - Business, finance, or related field - Required
  • Master's Degree - Preferred
Work Experience
  • A strong background in Medical Group Clinic financial operations - Highly Preferred
  • Prior experience and knowledge of Oracle and/or Strata. - Required
  • A working knowledge of financial database systems and other analytical tools designed to support clinical operations. - Required
  • 5 Years - Experience in healthcare finance - Preferred
