Under supervision of the Clinic Manager at Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS), provide full range of support in the Primary Care Clinics as a member of the Medical Home Team and Acute Care Clinic including but not limited to advice and triage. Provide nursing care and education related to a variety of Primary Care visit types including, but not limited to, diabetes, wound care, suture removal, contraception, and sexually transmitted infections. Perform procedures per provider order. Following nursing protocols administer immunizations and order lab tests. This position may also be asked to work in Advice/Triage in Urgent Care and be responsible for communicating with and interviewing patients over the phone and in-person, obtaining information to evaluate illness/injury for severity, and prioritizing order of patients being seen.
