Bookkeeper (Part Time)

Position Overview <br /><br /> We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Temporary Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeping professional who enjoys working independently, maintaining organized financial records, and ensuring consistency across accounting processes.<br /><br /> The position offers a flexible part-time schedule and the opportunity to contribute to a stable, growing organization.<br /><br /> Key Responsibilities <br /><br /> Accounts Receivable (AR)<br /><br />Generate and distribute invoices accurately and on time<br /><br /> Monitor outstanding balances and aging reports<br /><br /> Follow up professionally on collections and overdue payments<br /><br /> Maintain accurate customer account records<br /><br />Accounts Payable (AP)<br /><br />Enter and manage vendor invoices and bills<br /><br /> Maintain organized vendor files and payment records<br /><br /> Process payments accurately and on schedule<br /><br />Bank & Financial Reconciliation<br /><br />Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations<br /><br /> Investigate and resolve discrepancies<br /><br /> Maintain clean and accurate financial records<br /><br />Basic HR & Administrative Support<br /><br />Assist with onboarding documentation for new hires<br /><br /> Maintain employee records and files<br /><br /> Support payroll coordination as needed<br /><br />Reporting<br /><br />Prepare weekly financial summaries, including:<br /><br /> Cash position updates<br /><br /> Accounts receivable status<br /><br /> Accounts payable obligations<br /><br /> Identify and communicate potential issues such as overdue accounts or cash flow concerns<br /><br />Qualifications <br /><br />3+ years of bookkeeping experience<br /><br /> Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations<br /><br /> Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems<br /><br /> Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic financial reporting<br /><br /> Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills<br /><br /> Ability to work independently with minimal supervision<br /><br />Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour<br /><br /> Work Location: In person
